Our Love Story
We met in 2019, right after my 27th birthday. Jacky had been my brother's friend, the legendary "Taiwanito" I’d heard about but never met. All I knew was he was nice and had a serious love for bubble tea.
Our official introduction happened over dim sum with my brother’s crew, and I ended up sitting next to Jacky. Fast forward a few weeks, and I was moving apartments. My brother casually mentioned that Jacky had "volunteered to help," and I couldn't help but think, "Is this his way of asking me out?" Spoiler alert: it was.
What started as a few hangouts—dinner, boxing, hiking, and even some questionable climbing attempts—quickly turned into a daily routine. Before I knew it, we were practically living together, and that was that. Fast forward five years and one crazy dog later, here we are—married and still laughing at our own antics.
By train from Lisbon

Train: Departing from Cais do Sodré station in Lisbon, the train to Cascais runs frequently and offers a scenic 33 to 40-minute journey along the coast. A single ticket costs €2.30 and is charged to the reusable Navegante card, which costs €0.50 for the initial purchase. Each traveler must have their own card.
By car from Lisbon
Car Rental: Driving from Lisbon to Cascais via the A5 highway or the coastal N6 road takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Keep in mind potential tolls and parking fees.
